Finally got my PCB (not assembled)! They feel very smooth and look very crisp! Thanks to Maggie, Kevin, and HC Bank for their help!

We won the first prize with this for the Math in CS category! We had a few other fractal-based programs as well but this one's my favorite! (There's a slight audio delay in the recording)

i’m still working on my full update, but i have to show this off! got all the flaps on the split-flap display & wired up the sensor. this is the first run with all the electronics fully assembled

Day 4 of #10-days-in-public! T-1 day until #lioncityhacks, and I spent some time tonight working with @sampoder and the Innovation Circuit team on setting on the event space :lioncityhacks: We got the banner onto the booth, set up the registration table w/ loads of sticker, and set up the polaroid camera. I am really excited for tomorrow 🚀

Screwed the LCD case together for my pen-plotter (CNC) today at the local makerspace. The case kinda covers the restart button, so I also redid the wiring and added an on/off button

Day 8 of #10-days-in-public - I met with the academic support person at my college and got so much incredible advice on how to get through my anxiety. I actually feel like there's a chance I can do this

OMG IT WORKS!! finally figured out how to get the data and the position data of the object too :) the next step is to write a checker that returns whether both a phone and person are in an image and whether the position of the phone is above 1/3 the height of the person... i was also able to read up on how to trigger a screenshot :) day 5 of #10-days-in-public (i'm grinning in the photo because i can finally see how the project might come to fruition!!)

These past few months I've been getting into 3D printing and yesterday I replaced my hotend (the part the melts the plastic) with the new Revo Six system from E3D. This new system makes it way easier to swap extruder nozzles, so you can easily extrude with plastic widths of 0.2mm for normal parts, 0.1mm for small parts, or 0.4mm for big parts. This dramatically cuts down on printing time for bigger parts that need a bigger nozzle. It also opens the door for printing much more precise parts (I want to make 3D printed business cards). To replace the hotend, I had to order the new Revo Six in the mail, unscrew a bunch of parts of my extruder to get the current hotend out, put the new Revo Six in, rewire the hotend cables into the control box, and then recalibrate the machine. I'm proud of myself for doing this, and definitely procrastinated once the new parts came in because I was afraid I'd break the machine. But now it works and check out my first 3D printer part using a 0.8mm nozzle!

Today starts May! And that means my birthday 🍰 🎂 is in two weeks! :parrotdad: :tw_spiral_calendar_pad: Here's as well a picture of a plant 🌱 I took today and a very awesome picture of my new Scrapbook CSS Stylesheet! :css: This is the most complex design I've done for it: It includes a custom background with a texture, gradients, special sized borders with a cool :cooll-dino: red color #EC2F3A I did with the hexadecimal value, and great Pseudo-elements like :before and :after! Also thanks to the #scrapbook Prisma/Postgres:prisma: :postgres: database I learned that I have a 210 days streak!
